Middle School is WINNing!

In Middle School, we know how important it is to give students moments of choice. Several times a month, our fifth and sixth graders enjoy W.I.N.N. (What I Need Now), a reimagined clubs opportunity where students decide what they need most in the moment.

Unlike traditional clubs that last for half a year, W.I.N.N. allows students to select from a variety of activities each week based on their interests and needs.

A recent day of W.I.N.N. activities included a Woods Walk, board games, Lego building, American Sign Language instruction, chess, pickleball games, basketball free throws, friendship bracelet weaving, watercolor painting, a dance party, yoga, free read/free write, and more! Students are always excited for these moments of choice, whether they’re pursuing a current passion or trying something new.

W.I.N.N. offers a dynamic mix of physical, creative, and reflective activities, and we even take student input to add fresh options throughout the year. It’s all about giving our Middle Schoolers the chance to explore their interests and have fun in the process!
