Texture Safari Adventure

On Thursday, Kindergarteners in Mark Macrides' art class went on a texture safari around campus, discovering fascinating surfaces for crayon rubbings.
From bus lettering to building signage to tree bark, students explored how textures from the natural and built environment can create unique patterns and designs. This hands-on activity is the perfect blend of creativity and discovery—learning by doing at its best.
