Cougars Get Back in the Win Column with Victory over Bi-Cultural Day School

It's getting chilly out there folks! Today, the NCCS White Cougars squared off against Bi-Cultural Day School and came away with a commanding 40-19 victory. The Cougars performance was powered by a resurgent defense and a committed offensive rushing attack.

It was a totally balanced, team effort today from the Cougars, as four different players scored touchdowns and three different quarterbacks led scoring drives. Hudson Sonesson got the scoring going with a short touchdown reception at the goal line, and the Cougars never looked back.  Sammy Wagner filled up the stat sheet on offense and defense, ending the game with a rushing touchdown, a receiving touchdown, and an interception. Major Hasbrouck also had an excellent two-way performance, as he made a key deflection to cause one interception on defense before catching a deflection in the endzone for a two-point conversion on offense. Not to be forgotten is Archer MacClear who had a tremendous game at running back for the Cougars, featuring a full-field rushing touchdown to end the game with a cheer.

Bi-Cultural Day school had some big plays on the ground as well. After letting up a couple of touchdowns, the Cougars defense battened down the hatches, especially on the line of scrimmage, where Charlie Glover and Dylan Svenson impressed with some clutch flag-pulling and pass deflections on short routes.

Cougars march on next week with a record of 2-2 when GFA comes to town. We hope to see you cheering us on!
