Homework Central (Grades 3-9)
Homework Central provides a time and place for students to work and study in a quiet, supervised environment.
Children who attend are responsible for bringing in their own work, and are expected to work quietly on homework (or reading) during this time. The supervising teacher will assist students in planning their time and can help answer basic questions, but will not provide individualized tutoring. Homework Central is designed to help foster good study habits, and is not a childcare solution.

You will not be refunded for student absences; however, if the school is not in session due to a holiday or weather-related event, your child can either come to a make-up session on another day of the week or credit will be extended to the next 5-week session.
Attendance will be taken and billed accordingly. Drop-ins are allowed for a fee of $35/session provided a core group is already registered. To check whether or not Homework Central is available for Drop-ins on any given day, please contact the Afterschool Office at 203-801-5890 or send an email to
