Lunch Bunch for Beginners
Lunch Bunch is held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 12 until 2:50 p.m. The afternoon begins with a bag lunch from home (nut free) followed by group activities, cooperative projects or independent exploration.
Lunch Bunch for Beginners 2013-14 schedule:
12-2:50 p.m. every day except Wednesday in the Thacher Building.
Bus transportation may be available as permitted by state law. Beginners Lunch Bunch starts Monday, Sept. 16, 2013.
Lunch Bunch for Beginners is a time for children to gather in a relaxed, nurturing and informal setting. The afternoon begins with a bag lunch from home (nut free) followed by work period that includes group activities, cooperative projects or independent exploration. After work period, children enjoy a story and siesta. The afternoon concludes with outdoor play. Children who ride the bus are accompanied to the 3 p.m. bus and those who stay are brought to Extended Day.
