Annual Fund at Country School

The Annual Fund is the foundation of everything we do at NCCS. Each department and office on campus receives a portion of the Annual Fund every year, making it our most essential funding source. It provides critical resources for programs and initiatives that benefit the entire community, while offering NCCS the flexibility to seize emerging opportunities and address new challenges.

From financial aid to academic programs, technology upgrades, building enhancements, and campus life—your renewed gift each year is instrumental in sustaining our core funding source and ensuring the vitality of these and other key priorities. Your partnership strengthens our ability to fulfill our mission. Your generosity is critical to our success, and we thank you.

Our Endowment

A strong endowment is vital to a vibrant Country School experience. Your contributions to our endowment provide the capacity needed to meet our core commitments and help us maintain our steadfast dedication to financial aid, faculty and staff support, program, technology, and other needs. Endowment funds also provide the long-term financial stability that allows the school to weather periods of economic uncertainty.

In the 2023–2024 academic year, NCCS endowed funds for financial aid provided over $1 million in need-based tuition assistance. One new gift established the Albert Perry Scholarship Fund to provide financial assistance to help make NCCS accessible to students and families who may not otherwise have the opportunity to be part of the School community. This new fund has since garnered additional support from more than 50 other community members who gave in Al’s honor.

Albert Perry Scholarship Fund

“Mr. P” taught English, History and Anthropology in the Upper School for 21 years and also made an impact on the playing fields as our baseball coach before retiring in 2003. An ever-cheerful Mr. P always knew how to entertain a classroom of kids, making laughter an essential part of any lesson plan. His dedication to making learning fun is at the heart of the NCCS mission, and thanks to this fund, future generations of Country School students will continue to feel his impact.
