Varsity Softball Secure their second win over King!
The Cougars won their second straight victory against King on Thursday with a final score of 9-4. The match started strongly for the Cougars, who scored two runs in the top of the 1st inning, setting the tone for the rest of the game. Despite King's best efforts, the Cougars continued to dominate by scoring another run in the 2nd inning and two more in the 3rd. The pivotal moment occurred in the top of the 4th inning when the Cougars secured a commanding five-run lead with a grand slam, leaving King behind. Even though King responded with three runs in the bottom of the 4th, it wasn't enough to overcome the Cougars' impressive performance. Notably, the Cougars demonstrated exceptional batting skills against King, with each player contributing to their victory by getting on base or scoring—great job by the Cougars Varsity Softball Team.
