Before & After School Programs
New Canaan Country School's Plus Program offers before and after school programming for all students in Early Childhood through Grade 9. For an additional fee, the program provides several options for enrichment and fun in a nurturing environment: Beginners Connections, Early Birds, Extended Day, Enrichment Classes, Homework Central and Music Academy. Our after school programs are fully staffed until 5:30 p.m.

Beginners Connection
Connections offers an opportunity for our Pre-K students to expand their typical day with afternoon sessions that include lunch, quiet time, focused exploration, outdoor play and story time in a multi-age setting. -
Early Birds Program
The Early Birds program provides a supervised environment where students gather before heading to their classrooms. The program is available for students in Beginners - Grade 9 every school day, beginning at 7:30 a.m. until the start of school (excluding delayed opening days). -
Extended Day & Wednesday Extended Day (Beginners-Grade 6)
Extended Day is an optional childcare program for students in Beginners through Grade 6. Families choose Extended Day for many reasons, including coverage for work, class schedules or additional social playtime for their child. Extended Day creates a close neighborhood-like community with an emphasis on imaginative play along with outdoor time, sports, board games and art experiences. -
Enrichment Classes (Kindergarten-9)
Enrichment Classes are designed to enrich students' interests through a variety of offerings: arts, science, sports and wellness, literature, games, cultural awareness and more. Students will experience the excitement of discovery under the guidance of master teachers utilizing the vast resources our campus offers. -
Homework Central (Grades 3-9)
Homework Central provides a time and place for students to work and study in a quiet, supervised environment. -
Music Academy
Private and small group music lessons are currently offered for the following: voice, piano, guitar, bass, drums, flute, harp, recorder, saxophone, clarinet, and trombone.
