Horizons works to close the opportunity gap for low-income children by offering a high-quality learning experience outside of the traditional school year. Founded in 1964, the first Horizons program was conceived and launched at New Canaan Country School. Today, Horizons at NCCS serves over 400 K-12 students from underserved communities in Norwalk and Stamford, and the Horizons national network has grown to 38 programs in 16 states.
