Country School Shows School Spirit at Homecoming

The Country School campus was abuzz with activity for this year’s Homecoming & Fall Fest on Saturday, Oct. 18.  Students, alumni and parents showed their Country School school spirit and cheered on teams in four exciting games.

Boys’ Varsity Soccer battled to a 3-3 tie with the French American School of NY. The Lady Cougars Field Hockey Team sealed the deal in the last two minutes to beat New Canaan High School 1-0!  Our Girls’ Varsity Soccer and Boys’ Varsity Football battled valiantly but ultimately lost in two hard-fought matches vs. Miss Porter’s and Brunswick, respectively.  The annual Catch the Cougar Fun Run was, as always, a bit hit with the youngest Cougars.  Incoming Head of School Rob Macrae attended the day’s festivities and met with alumni, parents of alumni, and past faculty and staff for a special luncheon.
